Makilings Signature Flower

Makiling's Signature Flower

I took a hike up Mt. Makiling to the Makiling Botanical Garden. It wasn’t the right time of the year to visit the garden, since most of the blooms there peak during late January to early February. But still, I decided to go there just to practice nature photography, hehehe.

It’s sad to see the place in such a sorry state, as most of the structures there are no longer maintained. Hopefully, the administration could come up with a fundraiser to be able to finance the operations of the botanical garden and bring it back to its former glory, in time for the Loyalty Day – UPLB Centennial celebration.
