I took a hike up Mt. Makiling to the Makiling Botanical Garden. It wasn’t the right time of the year to visit the garden, since most of the blooms there peak during late January to early February. But still, I decided to go there just to practice nature photography, hehehe.

I took these shots of the moon with a hand held cam (through-the-telescope view) so its a bit blurred… . How I wish I had one of those telescope eyepiece adapters for the camera….
I had to check this via Google Earth (thankfully , someone pursued to map out UPLB). Yes, its Mangga Street, the road stretching from AnSci (Animal Science Complex, or Animal) all the way to Palma Bridge. The close up photos of the Rizal Memorial Centenary Carillon were taken the day before (see previous blog post).
