I had to check this via Google Earth (thankfully , someone pursued to map out UPLB). Yes, its Mangga Street, the road stretching from AnSci (Animal Science Complex, or Animal) all the way to Palma Bridge. The close up photos of the Rizal Memorial Centenary Carillon were taken the day before (see previous blog post).
Nope, I’m not advertising that Tom Cruise movie, nor am I an agent for Ayala Land Inc. I’m talking about UPLB’s freedom park. This 700m (++ approx.) stretch of greenery is UPLB’s central space for leisurely affairs and appreciation for nature.

I miss the world pyro olympics, hopefully they’d stage another one this year. Its usually held 13 months after the previous one, so the next one is due this June. But so far, there’s been no press release and their website is no longer functioning. Hmmmm… ohhh please, light up the sky again….
