Jatropha Biodiesel Photoshoot! Mirror cleaning time…
Jul 202009

Just as I thought I’ve triumphed over the fungus invasion with my optics (had to clean one of my camera lenses due to fungal growth), they’ve begun invading my telescope. Yeah! Strike the more delicate item! (#%$#^&*!@) I should’ve expected these things, with the kind of weather lately…. hot and humid, plus the dust collecting on the surface of the mirror after some time I haven’t used my scope….

Oh well, thank goodness I saw these, or else it would’ve ruined my planned imaging of the solar eclipse this coming Wednesday….Anyway, took some shots… and I’ll chronicle (naks!) my saga over this wretched $%^@!@*&…. in a post sometime later

(Reminder to self: buy a gallon of distilled water….)

Just wanted to check on the TayHua scope because I was planning to get one. How bad is the aberration on it? I mean do stars appear with a noticeable “spike”? Any comments on the optics?
